In short: Nice idea, not so good implementation.

Nice idea: welcome back, 1988! IRC anyone?

The Implementation:
1) Scan a qrcode in order to join a room, seriously?
2) Where is /list?
3) Why nickname is only unique per room? people can use other people’s nicknames and impersonate them on other rooms…
4) Where is the android client?
5) Why does it require IOS 7?
6) Why is it only available on the US apple store?

Really disappointing.

On the other hand, you can always connect to DALnet 🙂

[Global Notice] Earlier today the freenode infra team noticed an anomaly on a single IRC server. We have identified that this was indicative of the server being compromised by an unknown third party.
